This morning laying in bed just before getting up, I was trying to think of two things. One, a great quote for all of us to be motivated this week and how much I have to do today.Remembering a quote from Vic Johnson that basically spoke to the fact that before he felt he was on a successful track in life, he used to always feel hurried, too much to do. He finally came to the conclusion that, and I am paraphrasing, "I have as much time as I need to complete the things I want to do." Vic said that after he started using that mindset, he always felt much better about achieving all the things that he wanted to achieve. To be clear, he didn't say that you could just hang out and not put a deadline on anything, he just doesn't let that nagging feeling get to him about achieving his goals. For him it seems to work much better. In trying to find the exact quote, I came across this video interview with Tavis Smiley and Will Smith. There is no doubt that Will Smith has gone on to become a mega-star and he talks about the reasons he is so successful. It is worth the 6 minutes to watch this interview. Will speaks to the magic in decision, that he is an alchemist making life what he wants it to be. He builds the life he wants, not just being a reactionary to what may come or not come his way.Decide what you want and start building that life. It helps to take the mindset that you have the time to do all that is required of you to fulfill your dreamsVery Best,Steve Teffenhardt
